5K Run in memory of Aaron Keenan
and Bake Sale 2023
This year the community of Inniskeen lost a very special member. Aaron Keenan was a past pupil of St. Daigh's NS. He was a character remembered by all who knew and met him. He was best known for his kindness and willingness to go above and beyond for anyone who needed him.
This year St. Daigh's NS wanted to giving its students and staff both current and future the opportunity to remember Aaron. During his time in St.Daigh's Aaron was a very quiet, gentle, determined and helpful student. Aaron had a beautiful personality and always made friends wherever he went. He had a particular talent for sports and captained the winning team in the Ciaran McGeough Competition in June 2013.
We felt that by dedicating our annual 5k run in memory of Aaron it will allow us the opportunity to remember Aaron and keep his spirit alive each year.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Jackie and Anthony for being in attendance on the day of the race to present the winner with the Aaron Keenan Perpetual Cup.
