About

Committed to Education

St. Daighs’ National School is located in the heart of Inniskeen. We are a rural school based in the centre of Inniskeen. We have strong links with our local community and wider area.

Inniskeen embraces 47 town lands in Co. Monaghan and 7 in Co. Louth. The Ultra modern St. Daigh’s National School was the result of the amalgamation of 4 schools, Inniskeen, Kidnaminsha, Drumlusty and Drumsinnott.

The St. Daigh’s staff is lead by the school’s Principal, Mr Tomás MacGiollachomáin with the assistance of Deputy Principal, Mrs Sandra Cumiskey. There are 9 classroom teachers, 4 Special Educational Needs Teachers, 4 Special Needs Assistants and a school completion officer.

St. Daighs National School provides an enriched learning environment that has helped countless students learn, develop and grow. Our unparalleled curriculum and teaching methods help students take the next step in their education and approach the future with confidence.

We have the privilege of teaching bright and curious students from Inniskeen and the surrounding areas and beyond. If you’re new to our community and would like to learn more about our values, academics, teaching staff or anything else, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
