We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mc Ardle Skeath for their very kind sponsorship of a new set of school jerseys for the sports' teams in the school.
A special word of thanks to Michael and Micheál McArdle for their support for our students.
The football, hurling and soccer teams did really well this year, getting to the finals. The boys (5th & 6th class) won both the cup and shield finals at the Conor Morgan Tournament.
Both girls & boys teams reached the FAI soccer finals day.
In addition to this, the pupils from 3rd to 6th class were very lucky to get to the Hurling, Camogie & Gaelic blitzes in Cloghan.
5th & 6th class girls played in Cumann na mBunscol League & reached the finals.
It has been a very successful year for the pupils at St. Daigh's NS.
